My Project

I have the privilege of teaching an enthusiastic and inquisitive group of 5th graders in an online classroom. Each spring, 5th grade students are assessed in science using the Washington Comprehensive Assessment of Science (WCAS). I have chosen items to help teach essential science concepts for fifth grade with the science kits. Under the document camera, I can conduct experiments that are enjoyable as well as educational. I am teaching more STEM lessons this year - the kids can't get enough. Conducting experiments live in my classroom will enhance the topics they are learning about in our curriculum. It will be much more meaningful.
