My students arrive at school each day eager to learn, and I want to ensure that happens. Our school is low income, over 75% of our students are on free or reduced-price lunch. With that being said, I want my students to always have what they need in school to be successful.
I want to make sure that when students are in my classroom they feel welcomed, encouraged, loved, and prepared.
This community helps me teach the whole child by allowing me to have the best resources possible.
My Project
My students need chair silencers, fidget bands, and items to help with stress relief! In our classroom we have tile floors and metal legs on our chairs. As a result, there is often times unnecessary noise disrupting learning. Our classroom could benefit tremendously from the tennis ball sliders. These sliders would prevent students from being distracted by the loud sounds.
The demographic of our classroom is diverse and we have learners that would benefit greatly from having fidget bands on their chairs as well as stress relief items.
I want to take out the disruptive distractions and replace them with distractions that are conducive to learning! I appreciate the support of the Donor's Choose community!
