My Students
Orchestra class is unlike any ordinary class. Aside from the obvious signs of the class not having the traditional chair and desk look, the students in my class are unlike any other. To be specific, the orchestra students always are enthusiastic, even on the gloomiest days and are always filled with positive energy.
However, our music department is a true exception.
Our combined choir and instrumental programs have produced phenomenally talented young adults and leaders who strive to inspire countless audience members. It is difficult to distinguish them as ordinary high school students at first glance, yet little do you know how much they are empowered through the arts.
My Project
Thumb rest cushions are incredibly important for any young clarinet player. The main balance of the instrument relies on the right thumb. Students have smaller hands make holding the clarinet a little difficult. The thumb rest cushions provide comfort for playing experiencing difficulting holding the clarinet. I want to keep my students motivated to play.
My middle school classes will be a new group of students this year.
We will need a conductor stand that can hold larger amount of music scores and lesson books. With these two items, we hope this project will be funded and our students will have the accessibility to better results .
