Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My classroom consist of students with disabilities ranging from Intellectual disabilities, OHI, Autism, and Epilepsy. Our school
is a low income disadvantaged Title l school.
Our school was impacted by Hurricane Harvey. We were displaced to another school. The teachers, administrators, students, and staff are very thankful to have a place to go and continue the learning process. Despite the challenges that we face our students continually smile and give us 100% everytime.
We continue to strive for the best.
My Project
We are requesting materials that will make a difference as our students develop self confidence. The writing and math folder games will give our students the necessary skills in order to be successful. The Math games will engage students to work together with cooperative learning. The students will use the writing center to help them improve their writing skills. The Capitalization and Punctuation Learning center will develop ideas , provide feedback, and clarification. The students will generate thoughts, ideas, and focus on topics. It is important for students to hear what their peers have written.cThe Black and Wipe Wipe Markers will give the students the tools that they need.
