We are an International Baccalaureate school which means our curriculum is always engaging, rigorous, and inclusive.
We are a classroom led by student exploration in topics of high interest. Students learn through experiences that excite and challenge them and incorporate multiple subject areas at once. Students may organize and lead a science experiment that also includes aspects of math, language arts, and social studies.
We never stop asking questions at CFI 27. We are led by our ever-growing curiosity and passion for the betterment of our world.
My Project
A good book can brighten a child's world just a like the most brilliant rainbow. However, sometimes the places students have to sit and read their books are boring or drab. Sometimes the lack of soft and comfortable seating means that reading is less fun and more like a (kind of painful) chore.
This colorful area will become one of the most valued spots in the room and the time spent reading in it will become precious.
The padding provides a soft space for students to spread out and enjoy their book. The colorful canopy invites the children in with its whimsy. With a reading environment like the one included in this project, reading will continue to be a magical avenue on which students journey into wonderful worlds of fiction and non fiction.
