Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My students deserve to live long healthy lives. Giving them the power to know about living a healthy lifestyle and how to go about it will empower them to be agents of change within their community.
I have a group of first grade students who are eager to learn.
My students need a lot of opportunities to be exposed and be agents of change. They challenge me and my teaching and I am always having to adapt my instruction to meet their needs. They are very enthusiastic to learn. Engaging students in their health will help them live long healthy lives. They will be in charge of their health.
My Project
Have you ever heard of accomplishing two things at once? If you haven't you will today. You have the power to help our students accomplish that. They will be able to be agents of change and get healthy with power bands. You ask how? Well the more they stay active daily they will be able to help fight hunger around the world! Every step they take will bring food to a child in need. Tracking their every step with the bands will help them be more aware of their own health and track how many people they have helped around the world. Our students need a proper education on living a healthy lifestyle will receive the motivation to empower them to make proper life decisions. This will not only change our students lives to have a healthy life but encourage them to emphasize and create change in the world and touch someone else's life.
