My Students
My students come from a variety of backgrounds in a small city. We are a small school with a very close community and strong parent support.
Together we work towards a peaceful environment that strives to help others in our community.
I love my students because they are passionate about learning. They are great problem solvers and continuously ask questions. My student have learned to persevere through their tasks and not fear failure or making mistakes. They are creative and fun to teach!
My Project
Have you ever looked at a photograph and wondered what was going on at that particular moment, what happened afterwards, or why people say a photo is worth a thousand words?
My students will explore the world of photography and how photographers use the power of photos to express their thoughts and ideas.
In this project my students will explore basic photographing techniques using the Kodak Digital Cameras and Memory Cards. They will embark on a photo shoot to capture creative and unique photographs. The photos will be used to create a powerful story using a slideshow app.
We are living in a digital age and this project will help my students develop the digital literacy skills they need in the 21st century.
