Help me give my students these great incentives to show them that positive behavior will make them feel good, will help them to academically accelerate in school, and it can also earn them some cool rewards. This includes storage racks, Bluetooth speakers, and other items.
This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
Our school is made up of students from Pre K to 8th grade. They are an energetic group of students with many interests and hobbies. They are also involved in many activities within the school and community. We have athletes, scholars, and artists whose skills are further inspired through their teachers.
We are, a Inner City Title I school, that is classified as a high-needs institution.
Covid-19 has caused some traumatic stress, combined with the hard economic and social challenges. However, these scholars remain resilient.
My Project
Positive behavior plays a major role in the success of our students in the classroom. Our staff and the school's PBIS program is to consistently teach, promote and model positive behaviors.
To recognizance the students with praise when they do a "Great Job" is awesome, but, we want to also reward them for their hard work.
The snacks, toys, water bottles, pencils, and stickers included in this project will allow the students to earn great incentives. They must earn them through a classroom point system and or ClassDojo.
With these items we expect students will gladly work very hard for these items and great behavior will become engrained in their character.
