My Students

Our students learn at a level 1+ neighborhood school. The students are inquisitive, funny, and supportive of one another. They often find joy in making real-world connections and are open-minded about different cultures, concepts, and ideas.

They are very excited about the world outside of high school and want to be better prepared to take on any challenge that is set before them.

My Project

Many times students struggle with a text because they aren't engaged and cannot connect with the story the author is telling. With this interesting murder mystery, I am hoping to catch their attention with enticing content to help better develop/refine the skills they will need for their post-secondary experiences.

Topics such as corruption, prejudice in Peru during the 1950s, and human nature will take the students on a journey to finding out who killed Palomino Molero.

Students will be able to discuss global issues while using deduction to solve this mystery.
