Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our school community needs support. The admin team and staff are noticing that technology is taking over our children's life. Student's are required to put their phones in locked pocket bags and they consistently insist on hiding them and using them during school hours. Families are also expressing an issue with technology at home. They are seeking for help and want to learn how to engage with their child and get them to do tasks without cellphones/tablets.

We need to create a tool box that will provide resources for teachers, staff, and students.

This tool box will start with a set of book that will provide adjustable work sheets, and activities. These books will allow me to create a toolbox for the current groups that run in school, for parents in need of support and for teachers/community members. There is more that we will need for our toolbox but this is a great start for our community.
