My Students
My school is located in a diverse socio-economic community. It is an arts magnet school, specializing in music, dance, theatre, and visual arts, and serves the larger Dallas community. We teach children from all backgrounds- all they need is the "spark."
Our students are unique.
There are no "cliques" here, no preoccupation with their social status. The students at our school come to work, to practice their craft. They are also among the most well-behaved and enthusiastic students I have ever met. They are all extraordinary.
The educators on my campus try to provide a variety of learning opportunities to enrich the lives of our students. The Musical Theatre track is a new opportunity for our kids. It is a blend of all departments and is in its first year.
My Project
Thanks to our incredibly successful project "The Perfect Song," our musical theatre track is on its way to building a successful set of personal repertory. Now it's time to ride this momentum...
We are in need of 16 bar cuts of these songs.
These books, the next volumes in the "Singer's Musical Theatre Anthology," will be crucial in helping our students refine their rep books and will provide a truly professional aesthetic on each and every page. We work to make sure these students know how important appearances are in this business, and providing clean 16 bar cuts of music in an audition setting is a HUGE step in the right direction.
