This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Harrison High School students are a diverse and motivated group of young learners eager to embark on opportunities that prepare them for college and career pathways. Before COVID, we had a small but regular monthly publication for our student body, but unfortunately, COVID forced us to rearrange and prioritize funding in other areas. We are now ready to bring the newspaper back to Harrison.

Your donation will specifically fund the much-needed equipment and curriculum resources necessary to get our student staff of 40+ students prepared for a monthly award winning publication.
