Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students are a diverse group of learners, some of which are still feeling the effects of the 2020 pandemic. Many need to work on basic math skills as well as current grade level skills. My students need to be engaged in high quality hands on learning, especially in math.
My students MUST engage in hands on and collaborative math exploration to truly learn.
They need materials that will interest them and ignite a desire to learn and to try! The class set of Scholastic math skills books will help my students to review and practice math whole class and in small groups. The Multiplication Four-In-A-Row and Math War games will be used during small group practice and skill review.
With state testing coming up in the spring, this is the perfect time to supply my students with new math materials.
