Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I teach in a low-income, high-poverty area in Florida. It is a Title I school, meaning more than ninety-five percent of the student body comes from low socioeconomic backgrounds.

The students receive free or reduced-price lunch and often are recent immigrants from other countries.

The students at my school are inquisitive, creative, and compassionate. They come to school each day ready to try new things and grow both academically and personally. The methods and environments in which they learn best vary greatly. We do our very best to incorporate a variety of different learning strategies and learning options to ensure that each of the student's needs is​ being met.

My Project

My classroom would benefit if we would be able to get a 10 Pack iPad Bundle: 10 iPad 10.2' 32GB space gray, 10 Sony headphones, 10 cases, & 1 charging cart.

By having more iPads in the classroom, I will be able to provide my students with exciting, engaging, and fun activities.

The iPads will provide students with so many opportunities. Some students will be using their time on the iPad to read books(which I will be downloading), while others will be doing iReady. There are many programs and apps available on the iPad that are beneficial to my students. By using these programs, my students will be able to learn at their own pace.
