Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My students come from high poverty areas but have the world at their fingertips. They come to school eager to learn and excited to see what the year will hold for them. They have supportive parents and role models at home.
The parents of my students work endlessly to help meet the needs of their children.
I want to do the same with my project! I want to create a place that my sweet students can come to where everyone’s needs are met, and they can learn comfortably.
My Project
These are the last few items I need for my classroom to be full of flexible seating. These items will ensure that every student in my classroom can use flexible seating instead of a regular chair!
These chairs will help give my classroom diversity and give my students the freedom to choose where they feel like they will be most successful.
I have seen great success with my other flexible seating in my classroom. I believe these chairs will help my students continue to be successful in my classroom. I can’t wait to see these new chairs put to use and to watch the ways my students use these for creative learning.
