Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
I have more girls than boys, so, my class is quiet most of the time. They are so different, I have a bit of everything; I have super quiet children, very noisy children, and children who like to do everything perfectly.
My students are very creative, cheerful and active.
They are very motivated by reading in Spanish and excited to discover new things. They get excited every time that they learn something new and can master it. I love my class.
My Project
This project will help my children to be more interested in reading in both languages, Spanish and English. That is why most of the books in this project are in both languages. For those who do not fully understand a language, when reading the same book in their language, it will be easier to understand.
They can discover a new world with these books, get to know things that they have never seen before.
I also added a variety of books in Spanish so that my children can practice what they learn each day with reading.
Our school teaches English and Spanish, but for the second grade, the greatest content is in Spanish.
