My Project

I am requesting an iPad for my speech therapy services. It will be used to help students engage, communicate, and film themselves to enhance their communication skills. My students would find technology more motivating to work on their sound errors, reading skills, and language abilities. A new project in my school that I am creating is moving towards a Neurodivergent affirming environment. I want to use my students’ voices to advocate for themselves in their classrooms. Neurodivergent affirming mean we are accepting of people with diverse thinking! This iPad will be the camera crew & technology needed to shed light upon the new research to help avoid Autistic masking and causing burnout. My students who also work on articulation sounds would benefit from recorded feedback of themselves to check for correct productions and correct placement of their articulations. Please help my students here be more engaged in therapy & help give them voices!
