The Natural Needed Practice Too!

Help me give my students an indoor option to practice in adverse weather in Wyoming. A batting cage will allow my team to practice indoors when Wyoming Spring Weather is bad.

My Students

My students are home town, outdoor kids who don't know much about their own home. We are an agricultural-based town with some migrant workers. Thirty percent of our students are Hispanic.

There is no better feeling in the world than when a student you are working with finds self-confidence and self-worth.

Learning is more meaningful when you can put an object in your hands. I hope to accomplish both of these goals in teaching students to become good team members and life long supporters of team sports in Women's Softball.

My Project

Athletes in our town begin our season early in March. There is a dire need of practice facilities to work in adverse Weather. A Batting cage can double as an indoor/outdoor practice device. What an awesome way for female athletes to build character, skill and self confidence than to apply these skills in a sport.

Our Softball team needs the necessary facilities to practice in Adverse conditions so they can improve their skills to be competitive.

Without these items we will be reduced to inadequate practice facilities until Spring Weather improves.
