Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My students are amazing little individuals! The students in my class are diverse in every way! They are experiencing their second year of school filled with learning as they are immersed in a dual language classroom where they continue to learn a new language together as well as apart! This year we get to go back to the classroom and we are excited!
My students are definitely resilient!
Their little brains can absorb so much in a year and seeing them apply what they have learned is like a gift for me!
My Project
This year has been so great as we are finally in the classroom full time. It’s not the same as what we are used to but my students are resilient, hard working and so excited to learn each and every day!
This school year I want to give my students a little something to celebrate all that they have accomplished and to give them a bit of encouragement to continue working so very hard!
Having their name on their water bottle will make them so happy and all the snacks and treats will bring them joy.
They have a few more months to go after break and soon they will be 2nd graders! I am so proud of these littles.
