My Students

My band students are great kids from very diverse backgrounds. My school is currently about 60% free and reduced lunch. We live in a beautiful community right on the shores of Lake Erie. Hundreds of acres of concord grapes are grown and harvested here to make Welch's grape juice. Our marching band has been very successful locally and regionally and we are looking to compete more on a national level. I believe that my students can compete against bands from anywhere in the country.

My Project

The Behringer S32 Digital Snake and Di800 Direct Box will allow the North East High School Marching Band to connect all of our sound gear in our front ensemble in the most efficient manner possible.

Given the fact that we only have 3 minutes to push all of the gear onto the field and get everything connected, powered, and running - efficiency is key.

With a separate mixing location from outside of the front ensemble, the S32 will allow one cable to connect our mixer to all of the microphones and electronics within the front ensemble. The Di800 will allow the keyboards and samplers to connect easily to the S32 Digital Snake.
