My Students

This will be my first year teaching third grade for the School District of Philadelphia. I have been teaching in the district for four years. Funding can be limited, and I would like to provide the best tools for instruction for my future students.

My classroom is very diverse this year, and not all of my students have the resources and supplies that they need.

Every student deserves an equal opportunity, and I would love to give them a chance to feel like they have one!

My Project

As a first year third grade teacher, my library is not up to date with on level books for my third grade students. I have always taught lower level grades, and my students have read most of the books in our classroom library, and it's only January!

My students are so hungry to read and learn, I want to expand my classroom library so they can fill their brains!

My students absolutely love to read, and I want them to have materials to read books they are interested in. Our classroom library is not suitable for all of my students, and I want them to all enjoy it!
