Help me give my students math manipulative supplies and art supplies.
We also have a set of ten kindles and very limited plug in spaces. We could really use a charging station.
My students are hardworking, curious, and always itching to learn more. They go to a small rural school on the reservation. They are very hands on and like activities for learning. They do not do well with book work or lots of reading. They love math, science, gym class and Art. Anything where they can create with their hands or move around. I want to be able to give them the best education I can. These supplies would be beneficial to their education.
My Project
I would, eventually, get my students new technology for our classroom, but for now we need some basics. We need things that make math tangible. We need storage for our current and any possible new supplies. My students learn best when they can manipulate problems and move around. With my class room current supply list, this becomes very hard to do. I am a first year teacher and do not have the means to buy everything we need. We do get a yearly budget but I probably spend that amount every few months. I simply can not pay out of pocket and neither can the district. We will be great full for anything donated.
