My Students

My students are funny, bright, and make every day together enjoyable. I love watching them grow from the little one I meet the very first day of school, to the more independent character they become toward the end of the school year. My class is a melting pot of different cultures, ideas, and attitudes. They each bring a small, wonderful piece that makes our classroom whole. I believe in creating a classroom family that encourages creativity and individuality, while simultaneously working together hand in hand.

My Project

Technology is an everyday part of my classroom. Students use computers and laptops in my classroom to access programs that help them reach new goals in math, reading and writing. At our school, students have blended learning goals that include math facts and reading comprehension skills.

Laptops like chromebooks get students excited to work on reading and math goals.

They enjoy laptops because they have the flexibility to take & go. They usually choose to work somewhere on the floor, sitting against a wall or at the back tables. A new chromebook would provide access to the technology that is a vital part of today's modern classroom.
