My students attend high school in the beautiful Matanuska Valley. My students work hard and they are eager to learn. These students may have not always had all the support they need. Often our students are not confident in their reading, writing, math, and science skills. My goal is to provide books and supplies that will help bring some of the wonder back into their education. Some of them have lost that wonder in themselves.
There is a whole new world out there that these students have sometimes missed.
I want to provide for them a vision of what they can be and build a wonder of the world.
These kids live in one of the most beautiful areas of the world. My job is to provide assistance so that these young men and women can see the benefits of a good education.
My Project
I am requesting a quality classroom microscope and supporting slides. This project is an example of a biology class wanting to look further into what it looks like when the human body has something go wrong with it.
My goal is to get students to look at cancerous lung samples to assist them with not taking up smoking.
Your support will help students with making good choices. My goal is to get my students more interested in human biology.
This microscopic and slides will offer my students resources they will use to look at their world in small selections. This can help grow and improve own education and in learning about the world around them.
