Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

My group of 1st grade students are a group of hard workers who have a love for learning. They are always engaged and ready to learn when they walk into the room.

Even though many of my students face many difficulties they always come in with a smile on their faces.

These students attend school in a low socioeconomic school district and we receive fund from Title 1. Even when faced with great odds, these students give 100% effort everyday!

My Project

Having a color printer in the classroom will allow my student to have access to colorful games and activities in the classroom. Right now we only have access to the office copier in black and white.

By having this color printer it will open up a whole world of color to my students!!

Also the laminating sheets will allow these activities to be used over and over again for years to come! I can only imagine my students when I show them these colorful activities for them to use and learn with! It will help make learning fun for them!
