My Project

My Kindergarten class is full of eager, curious, and enthusiastic learners. With Kindergarten being an early literacy grade, exposure to vocabulary and sight words are extremely important. Technology has made an important impact on students in the classroom, and has created less of a sense for hand-held reading books. Reading is an important skill that is carried beyond Kindergarten.

Expanding our vocabulary with hard cover books, relevant to students cultures and traditions, with a wide range of reading levels and flexible seating around our library will help students maintain that connection to library books.
