When color television was introduced in the late 40's people were astounded at the different colors that brought their favorite programs to life. Students at PS 126/MAT has been using a dull black and white printer in the art room and need your help to bring the magic of color with PS 126/MAT!
PS126/MAT is in the heart of Chinatown in New York City and cater to a range of students from the neighboring area.
The students are very passionate about art and love expressing themselves through their artwork. We often work with a variety of media to teach a range of skills. As school budgets are being slashed across the city many schools reduce their arts programs. Our school has a deep commitment to the value of the arts in education.
My Project
With this donation students will be able to create a variety of multimedia artwork in color! As a graphic designer, I enjoy incorporating technology into some of my art lessons and this color printer will allow students to print their computer art work not only in black and white but in color as well. It will enhance their work and bring it to life.
Color printers will help my students expand their learning and grow with today's technology.
We are currently stuck in a dull black and white world and need your help to bring the magic of color into our classroom. The colorful artwork will be displaying around the school and bring a new liveliness to our environment.
