My Students

Students at my school come together from varied backgrounds, cultures, and abilities to create a beautiful community that we call home. We offer different learning experiences for students based on family interest, a student’s learning preference, best fit for achievement, happiness, and overall school success.

We have both self-contained Montessori and Gifted classrooms, as well as our mainstream classrooms, so we are able to meet a large variety of learning styles and student needs.

My students are curious about how the world works, and I try to foster that curiosity with thematic interest-based learning, project-based curriculum, and hands-on learning experiences.

Our library is a place where teachers, parents, and students can come together and explore the world and people of the world through nonfiction books and the joy of reading with the fiction books offered.

My Project

From the first moment students step into the library they are eager to find a book that captures their attention and interest. Having books on display in these beautiful shelves help draw students into the magic and beauty of what books can offer them whether it be an escape for a moment from thinking about what is next or help with what to say to a friend who is sad. Carefully selected books based on the needs of our students, teachers and community on display brings encouragement and hope to our school community.
