This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
My students are an amazing group of students. My students come from many diverse backgrounds. The students have a thirst for reading print and online materials.
Elementary school is a wonderful place to develop a love of reading.
My students enjoy reading and sharing their newfound knowledge with their peers.
Our school is a Title I school and all of our students receive free breakfast and lunch with your support, we will be able to provide the needed positive support for our students.
My Project
Reading in elementary school is an exciting journey. As students meet reading goals they will receive incentives. The students will enjoy receiving Welch's Fruit Snacks and other healthy snacks for reading.
By encouraging students to work towards meeting reading goals and celebrating their success, tangible rewards will help encourage a love of reading.
Elementary students have an interest in reading a variety of genres. The snacks are one method to encourage elementary students to read. The goal is to develop life-long readers who continue to inspire others to read. With your positive support, our students can continually strive to meet their reading goals.
