My students need Sharpie Highlighters, Mechanical Pencils, assorted Pencil Sharpeners, Eraser Caps, #2 Pencils, and Post-In Notes to complete their work.
This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
Have you ever tried to get your work done without having the proper tools?
We are 33 fifth grade students.
We come from low income, urban neighborhoods. Most of us come from single parent families who work hard just to survive. We try hard and want to learn but our resources are limited. We all learn in different ways, but we all need supplies to help us do it.
My Project
My students need Sharpie Highlighters, Mechanical Pencils, assorted Pencil Sharpeners, Eraser Caps, #2 Pencils, and Post-In Notes to complete their work with the right supplies. It is hard to do our work without the proper supplies. With the pencils, erasers, sharpeners, and sticky notes we can do our work. We can do what we need to build our skills, create projects, and become better students. Supplies are the first piece to being great students.
By your generous donations to this project, you can help students who don't have supplies get their work completed.
My students take pride in their supplies when they have them, this would give them pride and ownership.
