In our school we foster an environment of life long learners. We make learning an experience that allows for all students to grow, develop, and succeed. We strive to teach students to take risks, persevere through difficult tasks, and to learn new things every chance they get.
My students embody this philosophy.
They have developed a true love of reading and are constantly discovering new books to share with others. For this reason, they have developed a plan to allow them to share the love of reading with all members of our community.
My Project
Our students know the importance of learning, and believe in fostering a love of reading in all children. My third grade students worked hard to build, paint, and open a Little Free Library outside their Elementary School. Now it's time for us to keep it fully stocked!
Books are a gift of knowledge!
These books will allow us to share this gift with our community! Books will be used to rotate into the Little Free Library and add to the donations we are collecting from the community. Students have selected books for our student community members of all ages. There is always a book for anyone, and a good selection will keep people returning to our library each day!
