My Students

My students come to my math class with excitement and boundless energy. They also know that they need to do better in their problem solving skills but they remain hopeful and are working towards a growth mindset and developing the power of YET!

The students are talented in areas like sports, Fine Arts and Dance as we call ourselves "Hidden Gems".

I want more people to find out about our "Hidden Gems" and celebrate their efforts as much as our school does because it's important for their academic success as well as their future success.

My Project

Using the Dash Stem Learning Bundle will make a difference because it allows my students to see that coding is not something that is unattainable for them. Hopefully the students can see this as a future career path.

They will learn that they can become creators and artists not just consumers using Dash.

My students will be able to use coding and voice activated code to program Dash. The students will work in groups to create a program to code Dash during CS time. They will become creators and artists not just consumers. Dash will inspire my students to become problem solvers and critical thinkers.
