Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
I am the librarian at a diverse school. Organization is a must in the library, and I have requested materials for storage and essential resources for all students. The desktop barcode scanner is a necessity to have in the library. I will use it to keep track of all the books that are checked out by my students, and to maintain inventory of all the books. The storage cart will be utilized for all the library essentials needed for the students and I to use during class time, such as storing paper, pencils, crayons, staplers, hole punchers, tape, and books.
Students will continue to visit the library if it’s organized, well-stocked and inviting for all.
The sign holders will be used to place list of books by themes, topics and genres. The library resource books, such as “How to Plan Differentiated Reading Instruction” and “Makerspaces in School” will be instrumental to design and implement lessons and activities that are grade appropriate, as well as provide learning opportunities that are both educational and fun.
