My Students

My students had just found a new love, reading! Then we went on Spring Break and did not return to the classroom. My students enjoy practicing their new skill, but at home they do not have books and educational materials. I want my students to have a fun selection of books and activities to encourage their love of learning!

I teach at a community Title I public school where most of my students are economically disadvantaged.

My students have a love of learning that will take them far in life, books and materials will continue their journey while Distance Learning. By allowing my students to participate in their learning at home with books, journals, and writing tools they will be encouraged to keep practicing their skills. Having supplies at home will keep their excitement for learning moving forward.

My Project

My students love learning! With the requested supplies they will practice their skills in a fun activity book and read about one of their favorite characters in a book that belongs to them.

While they like working on the computer they crave hands on materials of books and paper.

My hope is the activity book and reading about Llama Llama and camping will inspire them to keep their brain and body active! My goal is to help my students become active readers, active learners, and active little people that will continue to be active as the get older!
