My Project

Our 5th graders are switching classes for the first time in their educational careers! This is done in an effort to get them ready for middle school. Switching classes and having multiple core teachers presents a few challenges, but nothing we can't handle!

A mobile book borrowing cart will be an amazing addition to the grade, so teachers can share books and resources.

Students will also be able to place their own resources in the mobile book cart while we move from class to class. At times, teachers also need to switch rooms, and this would allow for them to place their "classroom on a cart" and share their wealth of resources with all their classes, not just their homeroom class. It will greatly benefit those students, in regards to organization, and will also help to keep a piece of their classroom with them as they switch. We were lucky enough to have had a book cart funded in the past, and it has been such an amazing success that now we are kindly asking for another.
