My Project

My K-6th grade students struggle with reading so they come to my reading lab for me to teach them phonemic awareness, phonics, fluency, vocabulary and comprehension skills to help them understand our language.

I need these bright engaging materials to hook them into reading.

When reading is enjoyable they forget about the struggle and are happy to be learning new things. I will use these books to help my students learn the joy in reading and start to understand the value of reading.

The Stem Activity books will hook the students in with a need to read to understand what project they are going to do after they read. The readers theaters are a fun way for my students to practice and perform to show off developing reading skills. The nonfiction readers will be interesting and help them learn new things.
