My Students

My students (Scholars as I refer to them!) are inventive, respectful, resourceful, and oh so creative! I am fortunate to have a small class of 11 wonderfully – amazing – unique scholars... however once we return for our winter break I will now have 23!! Our school is the ONLY Title I Charter School in Sarasota, Florida! I have been incredibly impressed by each and every scholar that has walked into our classroom family this year. With support from donors, we will have endless opportunities to grow and learn together this school year!

My Project

Our classroom is our home away from home.. as you can imagine with all our classmates and friends it can be easy to misplace items that are brought from home, created in class, gifted from you.. I would LOVE the chance to have a machine in our classroom that we can easily and quickly make permanent labels for our items that can not be shared with others. It's important to me that my classroom knows that they should and need to take pride in their supplies,jackets,water bottles and anything else that is important to them! These tools would not only provide them with the ability to label items but also be creative while doing so!
