My Students

I am a teacher of a fabulous bunch of creative, enthusiastic and very diverse bunch of first graders. Our classroom is blended with students with a large variety of needs including students with disabilities, English Language Learners and primarily lower-income students as well. We also have a full-time Special Education teacher in our room as well to be able to reach all learners. All our students have a variety of learning styles and would very much benefit greatly from having I Pads in the classroom.

My Project

Our first-grade students are from various diverse backgrounds, some are learning English and many have special needs with a variety of learning styles.

I-Pads will give our students independence to be inquisitive, learn to research topics of their choosing, investigate computer coding and enable us to differentiate lessons to match our students' learning styles.

Students will not only be more independent in their research, but they will learn to persevere through challenging tasks and be able to present projects to other students with pride.

Our independent group of students will thrive having the autonomy to explore their world in ways they understand and encourage them to be inquisitive throughout their lives and be life long learners.
