My Students
I work in a vibrant classroom of 21 students with endless energy and enthusiasm for learning. Our class is comprised of students from a variety of backgrounds and socio-economic statuses.
Each day, the students walk into class ready to learn and are always prepared to give their best effort. They are endlessly curious and have an undeniable love of learning. We are constantly on the go and I am always looking for new and innovative ways to keep the students engaged.
My Project
Reading aloud builds many important foundational skills, introduces vocabulary, provides a model of fluent, expressive reading, and helps children recognize what reading for pleasure is all about. These books provide inspiration for writing, math, and reading concepts.
Reading aloud is one of the most important things parents and teachers can do with children.
All of the included books will serve a purpose in my classroom to teach and inspire my students. These books relate to many different academic subject areas and will be valuable to our learning in many different ways. The students would love getting an infusion of new books in the classroom!
