My Students
My students are mostly minority students and most of them come from a low-income family background. They are very active and enjoy coming to school and learning science.
They are always ready to learn new skills and explore new opportunities, but the unavailability of resources makes it hard for them to understand some of the abstract concepts that I teach; therefore, the need to explain the concepts in ways that make them real, captivating and interesting becomes imperative.
My students enjoy completing class projects that involve hands-on experiments, programming, art and research, which helps them express their understanding of chemistry concepts in their own way by creating new meanings of their discoveries.
My Project
My project is about helping my students get some healthy snacks, juice, belts, dress pumps and other personal items. They need belts to hold their pants so that they do not sag. My students are teenagers and some of them struggle with acne and it affects their self-esteem. That is why they need Proactiv 3-Step Acne Treatment to help them cope with the problems. They are also learning to dress up properly and professionally. Therefore, I need help to provide necessary items for my students.
Studies have shown that children who have low self-esteem are more likely to suffer in terms of academic performance.
My students need your help to get essentials items like healthy snacks, juice, Proactiv 3-Step Acne Treatment, dress shoes, and belts. This would help improve their self-confidence and academic performance.
