My Students

Our students are eager to come to school to learn and read. They want to read everything from literature to nonfiction texts! They are always striving to be better readers and great listeners. I am always excited to talk with them about their reading habits and they are eager to share books and read to me and with me. They want to be better everyday by being more kind and recognizing others for their accomplishments and success through the day!

My Project

This conference will give me the tools to provide students with better strategies for reading. It will give me the tools and strategies to teach guided reading. It will provide me ways to make reading audible and visual. It will help me to peel back the layers of my reading so that I will be able to show my students how to think about their reading in a more powerful way. I am always want to grow more professionally in the area of reading and this conference will provide that opportunity! Jen Jones is a reading master and I want to learn more from her.
