I have an amazing group of third graders this year! They are so very bright and are already beginning to think outside the box! I want to foster a love of reading and hope to create a magical setting for them to enjoy!
I love watching the kids grow both physically and creatively and I'm so very excited to see how far I can take them this year!
Our school is very small, which ultimately leads to us not getting many of the funds that other schools receive. Our students work very hard and often do not have the same resources available to them due to lack of funds.
My Project
I want to transform my classroom into a place of magic and wonder! My goal is to transform the bland everyday classroom into a Hogwarts/Harry Potter themed room of enchantment. Upon entering the room, the students can leave their troubles outside the door while they let their imaginations run wild.
The room will include a reading space that is nice and cozy with their favorite Hogwarts characters surrounding them and inspiring them to unwind and use their imaginations!
I want this classroom to be a place where they can leave their troubles behind and enter whatever adventure awaits them while fostering a love of reading.
