My Project

I have several students, whose family was impact by tornado and flood damages to their homes. My scholars need snacks to remain focused and energized during school. Healthy snacks like these snacks will ensure scholars will be successful in school because they will have brain food. Help me refill up my classroom snack/breakfast bar for my scholars.

I want to make sure my scholars are able to get a snack before lunch and in the afternoon!

Most of my scholars do not eat breakfast in the morning or lunch when they are at the school. Some of my students are late to school and do not make to breakfast because of having to relocate to a different home due to the tornado. Having this project funded will allow my students' parents not to worry if their child will receive their breakfast if their are late due to have to travel from a further distance. I would like to provide them with a snack that will hold them until lunch and an afternoon snack. In my classroom, I have set up a snack/breakfast bar that has different items that students can pick from. I also reward the scholars with snacks for behavior, having a growth mind, and meeting academic goals. I want to make sure my scholars are able to stay focused and do not have to worry about being hungry while in my classroom.
