This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

My job as a Title One teacher is to support students who are not performing at grade level. In my position, I have quickly learned that my students learn in many ways. Teaching in small groups allow me to understand each student's specific educational need.

My students are great kids who are often growing up in less than ideal circumstances.

My students come to school every day ready to learn. They work hard and do their personal best every day. When they come to school, I want them to have the best and meaningful education. I want my students to be able to have the best materials out there.

My Project

My students are motivated to do well, but are much more excited and engaged in learning when they have materials in front of them. We need a laminator and laminating pouches to preserve their work. They need fine point expo markers to write. Using a laminator to laminate workbook pages, visuals for around the room, educational games, make white boards will be preserved and will allow our classroom to reuse materials over and over.

Your donation will give my students the opportunity to use laminated materials that are durable and reusable.

Great educational materials will be able to be laminated and last for a long time, school year after school year. Thank you!
