My students are amazing individuals who are eager to learn each day and although they face many challenges, they are determined to persevere.
My students deserve to have resources to help them through their academic struggles and to allow them to access the curriculum to the best of their ability.
I use many resources in my classroom to assist my students in doing their best and achieving their goals. They are such wonderful students who are working towards meeting their highest potential academically and socially.
My Project
The Giver teaches that diversity is a gift and I hope that my students take that message away from this novel. I am hoping that you can help them read and experience the novel The Giver by Lois Lowry. I believe that my students will be completely captivated by Jonah's journey through the dystopian society he calls home. I want them to have the resources to help them fully understand, and make the most out of their reading experience.
I believe that providing each of them with a copy of the book and the teacher/student resources will give them more writing and discussion opportunities.
