Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I have roughly 150 students and am constantly trying to find new ways to engage them in conversation with their peers. Having a classroom that is rich in content and conversation is my favorite type of classroom!

My hope is to help create meaningful connections among my students through the gift of games.

We occasionally have a few spare minutes or take a day to refocus our classroom environment, these are the days that games would come in handy! They would allow my students the opportunity to enjoy each other's company and find joy in it. It's an added bonus that my students will be practicing listening and speaking skills in the process! They will play games such as the Family FEUD Survey Says Edition Card Game and Bingo, and all of the games will be stored safely on the bookshelf I am asking for. This will keep the games organized and easily accessible to students.
