Hooray! This project is fully funded
I have an eclectic learning environment and I am constantly looking for ways to enhance learning and meet the needs of different students. My students will benefit from integrating technology into the classroom and increase independence with student driven learning.
I have a high energy group of 22 students who are actively engaged in various types of learning.
I teach at a charter school in Chicago that caters to low income families. 80% of my school's population is on free or reduced price lunch. Students look at my school as a safe haven and love coming to school everyday. They look forward to using different tools and resources that help enrich their lives and education. Since I have such a variety of learners I have needed to find a variety of different ways to teach them!
My students are at various academic in my classroom. Technology provides the opportunity for student choice and differentiation. Students will use Apple iPads for customized instruction and learning based on student level and interest. They will also learn skills needed to interact with technology and be prepared for the progressively changing world of education.
Many of my students do not have access to technology outside of the classroom.
Using iPads will give them access to programs and applications to enhance and extend instruction. With your help I will be able to successfully integrate technology in the classroom and help meet the needs and interests of my students.
