Help me give my students have the opportunity to research and learn the world from their classroom with the use of iPads.
This iPads would allow my students to work in groups and collaborate with others.
I teach in a Title I, low-income public elementary school. I have a class of 20 bilingual students who love learning even though they know it’s challenging. I love teaching bilingual students because I want them to know that learning and knowing two languages makes them more capable and skilled in the future.
Most of my students love coming to school because it provides a safe, loving and fun environment.
At our school, we go above and beyond to ensure students are engaged and motivated to learn. Technology used to be a thing of the future, but now is the one thing people and kids can’t live without. Having electronic devices in the classroom allows students to discover and explore a world beyond what they know or can imagine.
I would like two iPads in my classroom. The use of technology in the classroom has become a necessity. But working in a low-income area this technology seems far too obtain. These iPads would allow more technology exposure and practice for my students on a regular basis.
These iPads will become digital libraries, research encyclopedias, and math tutors, with the help of some apps.
Students will be allowed to use Schoology to collaborate with others online, complete assignments ask questions and get answers to them. The possibilities are endless and I hope to explore multiple ways to use them in my classroom to their full potential.
