Our students are energetic, hands on learners who are so incredibly excited to begin kindergarten! They are fast learners and just soak up knowledge, both in classroom settings and in social settings. They come to our school with diverse backgrounds and home experiences. A high number of students qualify for free or reduced lunches. We have many students that attend daycare before and after school. Our goal as kindergarten teachers is to provide learning opportunities both inside the classroom and outside during recess.
My Project
Help provide my classroom with a fun assortment of tools to make literacy fun and to help my students solidify the foundations of reading and writing. The more exposure that my students can get to reading and writing letters, and the more variety in activities and centers that I can provide them with, the greater success we will have in becoming fluent readers! Learning should be fun and engaging!
We are requesting dry erase sentence strip, letter stamps, magnetic numbers and more.
These items will help me get the basic supplies to bring JOY to our learning. If you can donate just a little bit, it will go a long way towards making our classroom learning engaging!
