The Dying Art of Calligraphy

Help me give my students the opportunity to explore calligraphy art. It is a dying art that would be nice to teach our students. This is an experience that will last a life time of art.

My Students

Truly enjoying the dynamic and constant curiosity of my students within the arts. They are so enthusiastic about learning new depths of the art world. Their desire to explore their own art has become more and amazing as time goes by. This year they seem to be more enthusiastic than ever. I wanted to give them an experience of a life time to explore a new and different experience that they can utilize even after high school by learning 'the dying art of calligraphy'.

My Project

This year I was given a group of students who are truly in love with the arts. Many doubted their skills to find that they had a natural love for the arts as well as the arts love them. One student told her pee that she would love to learn calligraphy because it looks so beautiful. I pondered at the thought and then decided I would love to give them an experience that can last a life time to teach the dying art. It is unheard of in the public school system to teach calligraphy.

Having this opportunity to bring this innovative calligraphy art to my classroom would be amazing.

Students can utilize this skill for life and enjoy the art years after graduating from high school would be rewarding.
